Get ready for a whole lot of fun and adventure with a scientific twist. Plus, you can also expect that we’re taking every precaution to protect you and your loved ones from COVID-19.

Cleaning

We’re committed to frequently cleaning and disinfecting high-touch items such as physical games and seating areas to ensure your safety.

Sanitizer

For your safety, hand sanitizing stations will also be available on the grounds. If you are participating in any hands-on activities, you will be required to sanitize your hands before doing so.

Masks

To help us keep this a fun and safe environment, visitors ages two or older are required to wear cloth or disposable face coverings. In the event specific medical conditions may prevent some people from wearing a mask or face covering, age and medical exemptions will apply.

Hand washing stations

Follow the directions provided and wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds to keep you and others safe. Hand washing stations will be available throughout the grounds.

What is the Great Northern Ontario Roadshow? +

The Great Northern Ontario Roadshow is an expo featuring a wide variety of vendors, fun family activities, local natural wonders and more. By attending the GNOR, you’ll be supporting the economic recovery of your community and Northern Ontario.

This event will also provide immediate benefits to small businesses, attractions and local vendors by giving them a space to showcase their products and services. The Great Northern Ontario Roadshow is proudly funded by the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation.

Is the Great Northern Ontario Roadshow visiting my community? +

The Great Northern Ontario Roadshow is visiting 50 northern communities over 12 months. Check out the schedule to see when we’re rolling into a town near you.

What types of activities will there be? +

There’s no shortage of great activities at the Great Northern Ontario Roadshow! From science shows, fun games and entertaining music, there’s so much for your family to enjoy. Plus, savour some local specialties from food trucks, tasty restaurants, and even homegrown brewers.

No, The Great Northern Ontario Roadshow is FREE for everyone to attend.

Is there a capacity limit? +

While the Great Northern Ontario Roadshow primarily takes place outdoors, we’ll follow evolving provincial and local public health guidelines to determine capacity.

Is the Great Northern Ontario Roadshow a family-friendly event? +

Yes, this is a family-friendly event! We invite everyone from ages 0-100 to come explore the Great Northern Ontario Roadshow.

Will there be local vendors at the Great Northern Ontario Roadshow? +

Yes, there will be a wide variety of local vendors and businesses to support from each community. Every stop promises to be its own unique experience.

Can I purchase food and beverages? +

There will be food and beverages available on-site sold by local businesses. Be sure to stop by and support them!

Do I have to pay for parking? +

Parking is FREE for everyone.

Are there on-site washrooms? +

Yes, there are on-site washrooms. You’ll also find garbage disposals and recycling bins at every venue location.
